Current Opening:
Structural Engineer
(Webster, TX)

We are seeking an experienced structural engineer with a strong background in stress analysis of spacecraft. The engineer will use ProE and Pro/Mechanica to modify and analyze and components (from individual parts to the entire structure) of the VASIMR® engine.

The goal is to verify that all components will withstand launch and transport loads while minimizing mass. Components will be built and assembled in-house and the engineer will be heavily involved in the manufacturing and testing process.

Experience with aerospace structures and ProE is required. Experience with NASTRAN or ANSYS is desired. Minimum of BSE or BSME degree required.
